David Day

As a Louisville native David grew up in the Highlands, went to St. X High School and then to the University of Dayton where he received his Bachelors of Science in Business Management. David has held management positions in Finance and Information Technology with various firms including 6 years as the Controller at a Ski Resort in Oregon where he lived until 1999 when he returned to his hometown.
After several years as Finance Manager for Humana’s National Accounts Sales, David decided that with a lifetime in administration, he wanted to get into the action of sales and acquired his real estate license. Shortly thereafter he joined an old friend and long time realtor, Bill Russell, at Cherokee Realty. Over the past 5 years David has developed a broad referral based real estate practice in commercial and residential properties. He is an active member and vice-president of the Kentucky Real Estate Exchangor’s (KREE), a member of the Kentucky Real Estate Investors Association (KREIA).
